Current DVD Player Feature List
I see several posts a day over at AVS Forum about what players do this, which players do that. So, I decided to make a spreadsheet and share it with everyone. It is not complete, and I know this. I could use any and all help with any missing specs and features.

The Denon 2200 and 2900 have DVD-A and SACD too.

i know i'm being girly here, but it would be nice to know what colours these models are available in. I despise silver, so I generally skip right over those models - no matter how good/bad the specs are.

Is it true that the Denon's faroudja de interlacer is the same as the Samsung's?
I thought that the Denon had a better, newer deinterlacer, I guess I thought wrong.

The Pioneer Elite DV-59ai has an on board DD and DTS decoder.
Nice effort Red! Your spreadsheet could really come in handy for anyone looking for a new player. Any chance you could identify which players are infected with the dreaded Chroma Bug? Helluvajob!!  |
