HDMI DVD Players Worth It...???

I'm just considering it because I just got my new Panasonic CT-30WX54 30" Tau HDTV (early Christmas present :p )

I have the old school Sony DVP-C670D 5-DVD Changer and it's not Progressive Scan...or is it (?)

I can pick up a new DVD Changer/Progressive Scan for half the price of HDMI.

Any comments/help...??? Thanks in advance.

If it were me, I would go with the progressive changer for now, and hold off on HDMI until HD dvd comes out.
