Home Theater issue

I have a 5.1 surround set with a Kenwood VR-309 reciever which I have had since 1999. It has never given me problems until now. The issue is that there is no signal going to my left speaker. I even changed speakers and it still doesnt work. I would send it to a repair shop, but their all closed till Jan 7th and I want to do a LOTR EE marathon before classes start. Help moi?

Have you tried swapping out the speaker cable?

Peace...
