Question for owners of Pinnacle speakers - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Does anyone here own any? If so, a friend gave me some speakers that look like these but there is no brand label anywhere on the speakers and the label on the back of each lists the specs (freq. response, power rating, etc) and at the top of each label is "DL 6.2".

Could these be Pinnacle speakers? I'm going to contact Pinnacle and ask them this but I wanted to ask y'alls first.

If the specs match whats on that site, they most likely are the ones. I used to have a Pinnacle set up, and the backs had Pinnacle stickers on them, and the logo was on the grill.

The freq response of the speakers I have does not match the BD 1000 speakers above and there is no branding anywhere on the speakers.

Well I for one would like to be your friends 'friend'!!!

Do they have the piano finish the Pinnacles have? Just how close do they look? Your friend drive a truck and these "fell out" or what!?!?!

Actually I'm dumbfounded as to why these things have NO manufacturing name anywhere to be found....makes me a tad skeptical since even my "White Van" speakers had a name. I'd probably dump them, since they are probably cheap ripoffs of the Pinnacles.

That is very likely, they could be rip offs. I know knock off Klipsch speakers are a huge concern on the used market.

They look close enough to the Pinnacles that when I saw the pic of the speakers I posted a link to above on the back of a magazine cover, I thought I had found my speakers. They are NOT as "polished" as the Pinnacles in the link above.

Tom, did you get my email? That was the only thing I could find on the DL 6.2.. Did Pinnacle get back to you?
