I voted 2 channel but I really listen in 2.1 It's strange that you should mention this because about 2 weeks ago I tiik my dad's old HTiB and took 2 speakers and a small sub and put it into my office. Now pair that up with a 1GB MP3 player and I am in music heaven at work.

Pro Logic II for me. I just like the sound better from that setting, especially with newer and/or remastered CD's.

Where's the option for "It depends on what I'm listening to"?

I like to listen to live recordings with DPLII sometimes since it lends a bit to the ambience of a live recording...however, I usually listen to studio recorded music in stereo.

I like the PL II setting for my music. The Eagles Hell Freezes Over CD just sound great when played in PL II (regular CD) The music is very enveloping and makes me feels like i'm there in the crown or on stage/recording studio. Just love New York Minute in the format. Live cd's i will agree are better in PL II but some regular cd's are just as good as the live ones as well.
