Samsung DVD-1080P7 - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I have been considering getting an upconverting 1080p standard def DVD player such as the Samsung DVD-1080P7. Is here any reason I shouldnt? I do have the HD-DVD add-on, but I would expect to see a better picture when playing a Standard DVD on a stand-online player. Do you guys think thats true?
