Pioneer Elite DV 48
So, I'm crusing the interwebs and come across this. It says in the player passes SACD over HDMI. It aludes to the player sending out the native DSD for decoding in the receiver. I would like to replace my DV 563A/S with an HDMI solution, and since no HD playback devices are SACD/DVD-A capible, I have to look at othersolutions.

It also upconverts SD-DVD to 720p and 1080p. I wonder how good the de-interlacing is.
I guess one other option would be for you to get a dedicated SACD or DVD-A player (unless you listen to a mixture of both formats) and use the HD player for movie viewing. Peace...

Not realy. I guess the only way I will find out is to buy one and try it out. I did see, however, that pioneer has a new player, the DV-58 AV. It looks ALOT like their Blu Ray player, but without the Blu Ray...
