Watched Moulin Rouge and Scary Movie 2.

Also put in one of my all time favorites, Aliens.

Well be taking my LV-75 to my parents house over the holidays so all my nephews can see The Phantom Menace on my parents big screen. It's a 4:3 but about 60 inches so even in WS it'll be a big picture to them.

Went out to LotR:FotR (again)

At home I watched Run Lola Run and Terminator:SE, and the first two Sopranos episodes.

Oh, and Simpsons, Futurama, Malcolm, and Samarai Jack on TV.

Awesome dvds'r'us! CH has Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure?!? That'll be my next selection.

Anyway... on DVD I watched Toy Story 2, Falling Down, Akira, and Fear and Loathing. No new ones.

they have it for sale only and is not a new member selection. It is $14.99 though. So I bought it since I wanted to get one of my 3 to buy.

Re: What We Watched

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, the George C. Scott version of A Christmas Carol, a bunch of vintage Christmas cartoons from the 1930s, Charlie Brown's two Christmas specials, the first episode of the 15-chapter thriller Flash Gordon's Trip to Mars, a Little Rascals short, and we took a trip to the historic Crest Theatre to see It's a Wonderful Life on the BIG screen. Still to come this holiday season: The Godfather, Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol and the original (Boris Karloff) version of The Grinch...

"The Center of the World" --Very intelligently written. Good performances and nevers goes over the top. The DVD has great bonus features, like the discussion of the cool website.

"Series 7: The Contenders"--Can't wait to buy my own copy (had to rent, no one here was selling it). Fun little film that I had a blast with.

"Bullets Over Broadway"--Another look at one of my favorite Woody Allen flicks. Always gets better.

also watched some of the extras on "Moulin Rouge".

Sadly, I think the only film I watched over the weekend was 'Strait-Jacket' on VHS

That and a lot of Game Show Network. I think the last DVD I watched was 'As Good As It Gets' last week. I really need some new discage.

Empire of the Sun - It was recommended by a good friend 8 years ago. I've always thought about it and finally it arrived last week and I watched it Saturday-12/22/01. My friend said it is one of the best movie, he was right.

Ben Hur- Great Epic, you know what they say about films like this, they don't make 'em like they used to. Although, LOTR may prove 'them' wrong. Can't wait to see that.

LOTR does prove them wrong. Hell, Gladiator and Braveheart proved them wrong. Ben-Hur was pure shit! I hate that movie!

Saw Vanilla Sky at the lousy local small-screened non-dolby theater. (Though I liked the movie)

Watched Scary Movie 2, Private Benjamin and rewatched (for the fifth time) Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
