I received Willow and The Goonies, both of which I highly recommend. Just listened to Warwick Davis' commentary on Willow. Very good listen; very insightful and witty.

The outstanding christmas presents this year were a creme brulee torch and a plane ticket.

My DVD christmas present to myself was Series 7: The Contenders.

Slick! I LOVE that film! Jean Reno and Vincent Cassel are awesome in it. Just don't watch the dubbed version. It's much better w/ subtitles.

As for me, I got:

BAD TASTE FINALLY! YAY!
BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA 2-disc.
DIRTY HARRY BOX SET!

Pretty much everything I wanted.

Almost Famous Untitled - Hard to believe, but it actually made an already great movie that much better

X-Files Season 4 - Looking forward to watching "Home", which if I remember right is one of the creepiest things I've ever seen. Then I must wait until Season 5 comes out for my all time favorite X-Files episode, "Bad Blood"

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure - EXCELLENT!!!!!

DVDs suprisingly were a large part of our Christmas this year, before I was the only one to get them.

Anyways I'll break it down for you:

Me:
Toshiba SD-4700 DVD Player replaces my 4 year old Phillips
Castaway
15 Minutes
Swordfish
South Park: Timmy
Goldeneye

I was hoping for more, oh well! Evolution, Fast and the Furious, and American Pie II come out soon, and I can't wait for those!

Brother (11):
Samsung M101 DVD Player
Mortal Kombat
Mortal Kombat Annihalation
Rocky and Bullewinkle
The Mummy Returns
and one other one that escapes me

Sister (14):
Save the Last Dance
The Skulls

So a very DVD oriented Christmas! We know have 4 DVD players in the house (a PS2 being the other one), and a DD/DTS Theater in my room.

Santa was good to us! :santa:

My family mainly took advantage of the criterion sale at dvdplanet.
So far I got Double Suicide, Insommnia, Andrei Rublev, Roger Waters In the Flesh, Tokyo Drifter and Element of Crime. Some of relative's gifts haven't arrived yet, so I still have a few more to look forward to.
