Just found this on another site. The special edition is set for a release in April. Here are the specs and cover.

I like that slipcase cover, but it's nice that the original comes inside.

Does "enhanced for 16:9" mean anamorphic widescreen?

You know, I originally wasnt gonna buy this cause Im pretty happy with my current one, but I think I might have to pick this one up now. It just looks to good.

Is this a two disc edition? I am not sure if I by it. It would be the third time. If it is a 2-disc i´m sure buy it

If I had to guess if it was one or two disks I would say one. The way MGM has been doing thier special editions lately is dual layer with the movie on one side and single layer with the special features on the flip side. I would prefer two disks over the flipper though.
