Does anyone have any information on a new special edition of Goodfellas or Casino, Goodfellas especially since the current version is a damn flipper.

I don't know about Casino but a new special edition of Goodfellas is slated for this year. We should expect the "specs" and announcement to come out anytime now.

I just read at IGN.COM that there still is no word yet on a Goodfellas SE.

Would love to see both of these as SEs ... two of my favorite Scorsese films, not to mention some of my overall faves.

I'm sick and tired of the Goodfellas flipper anyway.

All I can say is that I would like to see this, but at elast we have them on DVD. The transfer for Casino is good, but the GoodFellas on is kinda assy.
