Question from a Newbie: Where's the best place to buy DVDs online?

As someone who's an newcomer to DVDs, what with a new player for Christmas and all...I was wondering where the best places to buy DVDs online are. Typically, I've just bought them at Suncoast, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc...but what are the best places to buy online? You know, sites that are cheap but reliable and dependable....

Any imput would be greatly greatly appreciated.

I LOVE OAR.
Mr. Mike.

If you don't mind used dvds - www.half.com They have brand new dvds also but the used ones are below $15 usually.

www.cdnow.com is pretty good too.

You might also try www.dvdempire.com. They do cheap S&H, have a very large inventory and keep up to date on new releases.

www.playcentric.com There are usually coupons on the internet for them. I like them but shipping can sometimes be slow.

I have used deepdiscountdvd three times with no problem.

Good Buys

I usually order from www.deepdiscoutdvd.com

If you pick the free shipping it usually takes five business days to get. I've never had any problems with the shipment. It always arrives within the 5 days.

The other place I used to order from is www.dvdplanet.com
Their prices used to be good, not sure how good they are now since its been awhile. They also have a great selections of Criterion Collection at a good price.

I prefer using http://www.kencranes.com or http://www.dvdplanet.com. Great prices, the best selection, awesome customer service (at the physical store at least.) Whenever I visit California, I make it a point to go to Ken Cranes. It's that good.

More Info

If you go to www.dvdpricesearch.com

and type in the title of the film you want, it will bring up the title of the film and at the bottom show you the price comparison with all the other vendors. The really cool thing is that they also show the shipping prices. Hopes this is helpful.

I always use that site when I purchase online, to see the price comparison
