Total movie magazine...40 free movies - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Just wondering if anyone has gotten their 40 free dvds yet, I subscribed a couple of months back when they first started advertising this....I've gotten the last 2 issues, but no word on the free movies....has anybody gotten theirs ?????

I thought that someone over in the soapbox forum said that they were told that the 40 movies wouldn't ship till February.

That said, I have not received mine.

I received an email, apologizing for the delay, and it went on to say that the discs are expected to ship the week of 2/5

Thanks for all the info guys. I posted all the links in the Bargain Area section (40 FREE movies on DVD! WTF!).

I will avoid this "offer" like a Pauly Shore film where he has a 3-way with Tom Green and Carrot Top.

Last week I e-mailed them trying to get a straight answer from them. I basically just went off and vented my frustration at what I thought to be a very unprofessional publication.

I've sent a few emails before but never got any replys at all. It wasn't till I sent the "heated/verbal bashing" email that I finally got a reply.

And when I got it and read it....the one that sent it back was very smug in his response to mine and others problems relating to the delay.

Basically he was laughing and bragging how even with all the fuck-ups their publication has inflicted on the public, that TotalMovie was still around.

Veeeeeery Classy folks over there!!

Wow chips, that seems harsh. I've had my problems with their customer support and stuff too. Nothing rude, just a lot of misinformation both times I've called their number.

Would you mind forwarding that e-mail to me? I'd be interested in reading it. usernameundecided@yahoo.com

I don't even like the magazine all that much. I hate their writing style, and having stupid jokes in each and every f*cking screen capture is a bit much. The InsideDVD discs have been a tiny bit more worth it (although the movie that was included in this month's release...I'm not even going to give it a chance).
If I can just get those 40 movies, it will *most likely* be worth the money and effort.

...God I'm hating the bastards that run this publication though.
