Where's Lost Highway?

Any one know any information about when this will be released.... also out of curiousity - what did everyone else think about the movie?

Still waiting for a US release.... I believe it's out in Canada, though. (At least... I *think* it's legit.)

You can usually find some on eBay.... CLICK

The Canadian is legit, but forget it. you're better off getting the widescreen VHS. My friend has this disc and it's just awful. Pan and scan, soft, almost looks like a bootleg and only stereo sound...wait for a better release.

Love David Lynch and I love this movie. Its brilliant! I find it amazing how he can make films that is so much about atmosphere and mood. That uncertain uncomfortable familiarity dreamlike affect. Love it!!!!

USA Films announced they were releasing LH and Orgazmo last year. Well, we've heard more on the Orgazmo SE coming out, but nothing on LH... Lazy sons of guns. Perhaps -- after Mulholland Drive is released and sells well -- they'll get off their asses.

I love everything Lynch does. The only thing that I didn't care for was Robert Loggia(SP?). He just didn't come across as really bad. Maybe if I didn't see Armed and Dangerous I would feel different.

If the DVD gets released I'd like that it has the music video of The Perfect Drug by NIN!, that one is amazing.

I saw this at my neighborhood Borders here in Houston. I gasped and almost picked it up when I noticed the 39.99 price tag. EEK! I don't think so.

I found Lost Highway at an Australian store. Its at www.ezydvd.com.au and if u look up Lost Highway you'll see that there is a copy there for AU$25 (as part of a special price reduction from the distributor) and it's a all region encoded disc.

Now, since it's being sold here it's probably formatted for PAL TVs....but there is no mention of it. So if anyone wants to get it, I'd check whether your TV converts to PAL first.

Also, with our currency doing really badly agains the US$, it's a bargain at around US$12.50 (not including shipping).

Check out this from the DVDFile.com realease notes. It states....

Also just in is more clarification on what's up with David Lynch's Lost Highway, still a no-show as a domestic Region 1 DVD. Last week, some retailers received information that Music Video Distributors would be releasing a domestic DVD edition this coming March, but the release was quickly KO'd in a matter of days. We received a follow-up from MVD that the release is indeed canceled, as well as more information from USA Home Entertainment, who is the current rights holder to the title in the United States. According to USA, MVD was planning on releasing a domestic edition of the current Canadian release of the title (presented in full frame and without supplements) but USA's current rights prevents such a release, and the studio will be currently releasing their own special edition this fall. Watch for more details on that release to follow later this year...
C'mon guys....it's not like we aren't affiliated with a DVD website or anything
