We need a collectors edition DVD of Southern Comfort!!!

Have you guys seen this movie? Its a great damn movie. My dad told me about it and than last night I saw it at 2 in the morning (Not good if you got an early class the next day) but It totally sucked me in and I really enjoyed it. I would love to see commentary on this movie from the director, Keith Carradine and Powers Booth (maybe even Fred Ward!) I kept wondering throught the whole movie, "what if". I also wonder if they got a buncha shit for portraying Lousianans like that.

Any thoughs??

It's a pretty good flick, But I'm not ure about a full blown special edition . One thing that really stinks about the current budget release is the dreaded MONO:barf:

I think it definately deserves a better print and a 5.1 soundtrack. I liked the movie and the music but I'm not gonna hold my breath on this one

Great movie, but I doubt we will ever see a SE of it, which is a shame. I would love to see a sound re-mix, I think a good 5.1 soundtrack would really intesity this one.
