James L. Brooks
James L. Brooks has only directed four films, but three of them are outright gems:
Terms of Endearment Broadcast News As Good As It Gets Broadcast News and As Good are among my favorite films. I have yet to see I'll Do Anything, which is on my secondary to-rent list. Brooks' talent notwithstanding, it's hard to approach a movie that was completed as a musical and then turned into a non-musical after test screenings. |
