"Sexy Beast" cover art

W-T-F?!?!?!?!?! I just saw the DVD cover art for this SPECTACULAR film and I was SOOOOO disappointed!!! It just didn't make ANY sense at all!!! The color scheme and fonts they used are COMPLETELY different from the colors used in the film. It makes the film look like some run-of-the-mill direct-to-video gangster flick, AND IT WAS SO MUCH MORE!!!!!

To make matters worse, I felt the theatrical poster for the film, along with all the other promotion, was spectacular, and completely captured the tone and spirit of the picture. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU CHANGE IT?!?!?!

I see this ALL THE TIME! A move will have a GREAT poster, and when the DVD comes out, it'll either have different, crappier cover art (Like "Sexy Beast"), or it will be the poster slightly altered with cheesy photoshoppy effects that just make it look, well, like CRAP!!!! (Recent examples of this: "Glitter", "Serendipity". "The Closet", among MANY others) I don't understand it, if you've got good artwork, why change it?

Thanx,
Brook
