So what did we all buy this Feb. on DVD?

It was a lite month for me with only 16 DVD's purchased, only 4 of which are new releases

Blake Edward's Switch
The Abyss SE
Parasite (Demi's first starring role--not a recommendation by any means)
The Crush
Nothing but Trouble
When Harry Met Sally
Ghostbusters Coll. Ed.
The Legend 2
The Legend of the Red Dragon
Shogun Assassin
Re-Animator Elite Ed.
The Deer Hunter
Bones (almost a good movie)
Requiem for a Dream- Director's cut (not viewed yet)
Pi (not viewed yet)
The Musketeer(was buying today but no more due to ckmj23's post, getting O Brother, Where Art Thou? instead)
Grabbed Jay and Silent Bob also on the way home tonight. That makes 17, 5 of which are new releases.

Wow, February was a short month. I bought the following:

Hedwig and the Angry Inch - have no idea what this is all about but the cover sure looks interesting. I read reviews on it and hopefully this would be good, like the way Moulin Rouge turned out to be.

Designing Women - Lauren Bacall and Gregory Peck. It looked good so I bought it. Will have to watch it, when I get some time.

Peter Pan - Haven't finished watching it yet. I saw this flick at least sixteen years ago on the Disney Channel. One of my favorite Disney animation.

ON order (hopefully will get tonight or tomorrow):
Notorious - Criterion Collection
Summertime - Criterion Collection
Ghost World

On the new front, I picked up HALLELUJAH, I'M A BUM (my pick for Release of the Month), PETER PAN, HULLABALOO VOL. 3, and two volumes of ROGER RAMJET cartoons. I fleshed out my backlog (Ooo! That sounds painful!) with a bunch of 1950s sci-fi titles I found on sale, including MISSILE TO THE MOON, KRONOS, CAT-WOMEN OF THE MOON, ROCKETSHIP X-M, MESA OF LOST WOMEN, and THE ASTOUNDING SHE MONSTER.

Next month: Bob Hope, Arch Hall, and William Castle.

Not much in the way of new releases this month, just 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me'. All my other purchases have been out for quite awhile:

Twin Peaks: Season One (from Columbia House, took FOREVER to be delivered.)

Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band: Live in New York

Saving Private Ryan (DTS)

Jaws (DTS)

Antz (DTS)

Jurassic Park (DTS)

These DTS ones replace my old DD versions.

Peter Pan
Tron
Hook
First Blood
Walt Disney Treasures: Mickey Mouse in Living Color
Men In Black
My Best Friend's Wedding

I think that's it. Nine purchases, a little more than my wife would want to think about
