Gonna Watch The View Askew Trilogy Today

Right now, watching Mallrats. Then gonna watch Clerks, Clerks Animated Series, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and then go get Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back and watch it. Then gonna watch some Sakura Diaries epsiodes and then watch Wild Strawberries, then maybe Cries & Whispers. Anyone gonna do the same thing?

No, No, No. As you may recall, Randall and what's his name went to the funeral of the girl who died before the first film. Thus! Mallrats is a prequel.

Yep Mallrats is first. I love how they tied in Suzanne from the Mallrats futures in J&SBSB.

My trilogy watching will be next weekend. I'm awaiting Clerks to arrive on DVD. Plus the Formula 1 is on this weekend

Chasing Amy...most definately...more adult and more my sense of humour.

Technically, you are not watching a "trilogy."

A trilogy is 3 movies. You are watching 5 movies and a TV series.

I usually say that I am watching the "View Askewniverse Saga" when I watch all the Jay and Silent Bob movies.

Should we throw Scream 3 in there too?

I wonder when that happened- chronologically. Did Kevin Smith ever say when that scene takes place?

It could technically take place shortly after Jay and Silent Bob sabotaged the Bluntman and Chronic movie since they are in Hollywood anyway.

Anyone?

Scream 3 doesnt count cos isnt it really the Jersey Trilogy. And Trilogy probably doesnt represent a number anymore in these movies.

But yeah the order of the frist the anyway is

Mallrats - Friday
Clerks - the next day
Chasing Amy - 2 years later

All this is found in the booklet with the Chasing Amy DVD
