question about South Park

How many episodes were in season 1? If the first 6 volumes (back when WB release the DVDs in order)have all of the first season shows I think I'll buy them and if Warner does ever release SP by season I'll just wait until season 2.also IMDB.com says volume 1 has/had an audio mastering problem and the sound has "pops" in the sound, did Warner correct this or are the defects still there?

There were 13 episodes in Season 1, ending with the cliffhanger "Cartman's Mom Is A Dirty Slut". There was the Aptril Fool's Special "Terrance and Philip in Not Without My Anus" and then Season 2 proper started with "Cartman's Mom Is Still A Dirty Slut".

So the season break actually falls in the middle of Volume 4.

My only complaint is that on Volume 4, they group the two "Cartman's Mom" spisdoes together and then have the "Terrance and Philip" episode. But they do include an intro from Parker and Stone explaining the background of "T&P".

Here's a good episode guide for the series-
