zoolander dvd question
for those of you who have seen the DVD or will be purchasing it on Tuesday, I have a question for you. This move came out during a hard time in America's history. Ben Stiller, like many of us, were affected deply by this. He was supposed to host SNL's season opener but drop out because he didn't know if he could be funny at that point.
In the movie Zoolander, there was a shot of the NYC skyline that showed the Twin Towers which Stiller had cut after the tragedy. I am curious if he added it back in, added it to the extended scenes, or even makes any mention to it at all. I am curious since many directors choose to edit out the WTC during this time, and I am wondering if in hind site, they are adjusting their stance on this. thanks, neil |

I have so far only given the disc a quick once over, but it seems to me that the CG exclusion of the towers has been treated as any other minor tweak would be. It's done, the movie is what it is...that's it. I have not yet listened to Stiller's comm track; he may say something about it.

There are no shots of the WTC in the film, and any edits made to the film because of such shots are not mentioned in any of the extra features, including the commentary track.
