Warner release your classics!

Hey everyone -

I just created a petition for Warner Home Video to release their classics/musicals on DVD. Please sign it, and send it to everyone that you know ie. family, other message boards etc.

Andy

Sign the Petition

What classics are we talking about here? you might want to list specific titles if you want Warner to release them.

I am beginning to hate petitions! They are becoming a dime a dozen, and I doubt any company gives a shit about any that have less then 10,00 sigs. This one has 7.

Not trying to be too picky, but just a tip....Warner would probably take such a petition more seriously if you spelled the plural of "film" correctly. More than one film is spelled "films." "Film's" is the possessive form, as in "The film's aspect ratio was 1:33."

Also, the petition is just a bit on the vague side. Since it's not clear if there's a particular movie, or genre, or even era of release, you're asking for, I sincerely doubt some receptionist at WB will take the time to sort through this thing before sending it to the trash can.

Petitions usually work best when a large group rallies behind a united cause. One person's idea of a Warner classic might be a '40s musical, while another's might be an '80s teen flick, so I suspect as signatures start to accumulate, the requests will become so erratic that the petition will lose even more credibility.

Still, Garlandtaylor, it's a nice effort and I wish you luck. I just think if you narrowed your request some, you'd have better luck.
