DVD to Watch over Weekend (3/30/02)

I am looking forward to sitting down and watching 'The Yards' with Mark Walhberg, Charlize Theron, Joaquim Phoenix, James Caan, Ellen Burstyn and Faye Dunnaway.

The other disc I hope to get to is 'Va Savor'. I bought both these disc blindly just basing on different things I've read about them.

What will you be watching this weekend?

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! (For some reason, we always watch this around Eastertime.)

I started my weekend early (wednesday night) by watching In the Mood For Love.
I watched Cleo from 5 to 7 and A Woman Called Sada Abe last night. I just got back from Panic Room. I also watched Breakfast at Tiffany's. On Saturday night I watched An Affair to Remember and Osaka Elegy (vhs).

I'll watch an episode each of Stargate, Sopranos and Lexx, as for the movies, Training Day and probably Hardware on widescreen LD again.

I watched Wayne's World last night and I am going to catch either Panic Room or the Rookie tonight. For the rest of the weekend I have Casablanca and Annie Hall (which I have never seen before).

On Good Friday we had a bit of a Kevin Smith Marathon.

Started with Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, followed by Clerks then Chasing Amy.
Then it was time for some Bond. The Living Daylights. (best Bond film). And today just watched The English Patient. First time I saw it, and kinda enjoyed it.

And the Howling. Forgot about that one. This weekend will also include The Colours Trilogy, Outlaw Josey Wales, and about another 7 hired.

Maybe some Hannibal aswell

I'll likely be watching Boogie Nights and Almost Famous because I'm thinking of choosing those 2 films as the subject of a paper I have to write on for my "Music in Film "class! It should be fun!

I will probably be watching Iron Monkey (again), K-pax and some of the 5.88 titles I picked up at the local Wal-mart here like Major League 2, Pacific Heights and Silent Fall. Almost picked up Logan's Run, but it was gone before I got a chance to get it. I will probably be seeing the Rookie and Panic Room too.
