WWF Wrestling
The question I have isnt really realted to dvd's...but then again...it is.
We all know the tv show Tough Enough....right?? And recently it was released on dvd as a boxed set (this the dvd-related part...lol). I picked up the boxed set and enjoyed the bonus footage that was included thru-out the set in all the episodes. After I finish watching all the episodes. I realized that I have not seen Nidia wrestle an actual match on RAW or SMACKDOWN. Whats the deal? Has she ever wrestled on tv?? I've seen her make a few ring-side apperences with Maven....but no actual wrestling. I'm beginning to think that the other girl: Taylor, should have won the contract. Besides.....Taylor is hotter! Peace out!!! |

Re: WWF Wrestling
My guess is, technically, this belongs in Now Playing. But yeah, I haven't seen Nidia at all on tv.
Your right chiprocks1, Taylor is much hotter. So easy on the eyes. |

The last I heard Nidia is working in the back right now and she will soon be wrestling, maybe in the next 6 months. Oh, I never got to watch tough enough on tv, but bought this set, it is damn good! I enjoyed it so much! but i also am missing tough enough 2 so now I have to buy that set too! For some reason, I think Nidia is hot!

Okay....now I have a dvd related question regarding the Tough Enough box set.
For those of you that dont know....I have severe hearing loss in one ear (many years of head-banging didnt help the case either!!!:rar: ) And thats the beauty of dvd's....english captions to help out us lower forms of life that cant quite make out what somebody said. Now....as far as the Tough Enough set, Which was produced by Paramount....how come there is no captions available on this. Paramount puts it on there other dvd's they produce. But heres where I have a problem: If I play the dvd's on a tv that has closed-caption access, I get nothing. Whats the deal???? If you watch the episodes on MTV, the closed-caption works. Anyone run into theis problem??? |

![]() Blondes are dime a dozen in the WWF (and Taylor can't compare to Torrie or Stacy). Nidia was also better endowed than Taylor.

Though I don't (think I) have any hearing loss, I sometimes opt to have subtitles or closed captioning on, and am always unpleasantly surprised when they're missing. I can only guess that either a: Paramount fucked up somewhere on quality control, or B: They are only distributing the disc, which is produced by direct from the WWF, and THEY fucked up somewhere on quality control. Especially since, as you said, there is closed captioning when it aires on MTV (maybe MTV foots the bill for the captioning when it's on their air. Next time you watch it, see who sponsored the expense of captioning the program. Usually at the very beginning or end of a program, there's a caption that says who captioned the program, and who sponsored the captioning). Then fire off some letters to Paramount, the WWF, and the companies that caption or finance the captions and tell them that, due to your hearing loss, you really need captions, and can't buy any more product without it. Maybe you'll get lucky, and they'll include it on future batches, and trade yours for the revised discs...

Okay, to answer the original question thoroughly: Nidia is in OVW right now, the 'minor leagues' of the WWF. She made a couple appearances early on just so they could say the Tough Enough winners got on TV then they sent her down to train more (and get some plastic surgery) because she wasn't really ready yet. I would expect she would be brought up soon due to the lack of women on the Smackdown side of the new split rosters.
Okay, now I have proved I am a nerd, I'll stop. |

Chiprocks, most of your WWF questions can be answered by searching through the many wrestling websites out there, inlcuding www.rajahwwf.com , www.3wrestling.com , etc. Most wrestlers need to be comlete;y ready for prime time action before put in the ring, thus most unestablished wrestlers go through the minor leagues such as the WWF-run OVW (Oklahoma Valley Wrestling I believe) - this is the same leasuge that trained the recent WWF newcomer Brock Lesner. |
