Oz - the second season - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Forgive me if this one's been discussed/announced already, the forum won't let me search on words less than 3 letters....so here's my question.

Does anyone know when the second season of Oz will be released? I realize the first has just come out, but with season 6 being pushed back until 2003, I was wondering if we'd see a few more DVD releases before the end of the year.

I would absolutely love to see the second season of Oz lickety split. But to be completely honest with you, knowing HBO's track record in putting DVD's out, we may have to wait a long time.

Well, since they are doing 1 season of Sex and the City per year, I'd expect to see them do the same thing with OZ.

Per year? Are you sure? I thought it was every 6 months.
That would suck, I just watched the first episode of OZ and it was great, I still have 7 to stretch out but that won't be enough for a year

Yup, it's been about that long between Sex and the City releases, a bit longer from Season 1 to Season 2.

Season 1 came out in 2000
Season 2 came out in 2001
Season 3 comes out this May, 2002

I usually watch each season in one or two days so it's a long wait for me from one season to the next.
