The Winds of War / War and Remembrance

Seeing the information on the upcoming "Hart's War" DVD, it got me thinking about two good DVD sets that should be done - the two 1980's miniseries "The Winds of War" and its epic sequel "War and Remembrance", both based on the books by Herman Wouk. I don't think either has been seen on TV in quite some time, and if I remember correctly, only "The Winds of War" was released on VHS. Both of these miniseries about World War II would make for great DVD releases, either as separate editions or as one giant complete saga. What do you think?

...I think you're right!... would buy both series if they ever came to DVD... perhaps there are 'unsolved rights issues' ? ...

. . . . . .

I would die for both to be on DVD. "War and Rememberance" is on VHS too.
