Beat Street ORION film question

I just read that Beat Street is being released as a Region 2 disc on May 27 of this year. My question is about the now defunct Orion pictures, who made this film. Does anyone know who holds the distribution rights to these titles? I have yet to see any Orion pics DVDs and I still have yet to hear anything on if Beat Street will ever be released here stateside. This 1984 film is among my youthful faves. Any info is appreciated.

MGM holds the rights to virtually all Orion titles, and has released many of them on DVD, including Bull Durham, Silence of the Lambs, and most Woody Allen pictures from the 1980s. The exceptions are the early Orion-Warner co-productions like Arthur and Caddyshack, which WB owns. My guess is that MGM owns Beat Street, and since they're pretty good with putting out old library titles, it's not out of the question that one day they'll get around to it.
