Novocaine

This got a pretty poor theatrical release here in the UK and I couldn't find it anywhere.

I just saw it at my import dealer on reg. 1 DVD. What's the deal with Novocaine? Is it a decent film that just got looked over in the multi-multiplexes?

What other Steve Martin film might you liken this to?

Thanks!

I'm going to come right out and say it: I hate Steve Martin. Well, I don't know if "hate" is the word to use because I've only seen one other (besides Novocaine) and I did not like it. But this movie I did like. I thought it was a dark, well acted, funny movie. Helna Bohnma-Carter is sexy in this movie. I would say that the reason it got a limited realsed there is because it was a indie film hear and did not do well even for a indie film. I would give it a 7/10. I'd say to rent it before you buy the film because it's not for every one. But if you can't rent it because the film in not realsed in UK yet buy it if it's under $15.00! Good movie non the less. I will be picking up the DVD in time.
