is it just me or is starship troopers....

is it just me or does the casing for the special edition of starship troopers suck big time?

i mean, its just the cardboard folding case.
there isn't even a slip-case thingy for it for goodness sakes.

anyone else bothered by this?

I like the overall look of it, especially the inside, but yeah, the cardboard and the folding is pretty lame...they shoulda put the extra effort into making it more like the Vista Series releases. Though it's not a big deal to me, cause I love this movie.

Anyways...

I'm with you. This is by far the worst packaging for a dvd ever. Besides Mr. Show........

I'm not a real big fan of these "cutesy" cardboard/plasitc digipak cases... (the new Starship Troopers, Jerry Maguire,
or the Legend DVD)

I'd just assume to have the slimline 2 disc Amaray cases...or the the oversized 2 disc cases

Instead of futzing around with overly slick and delicate packaging...the studios ought to see that their widescreen catalog film titles be released on DVD as anamorphic widescreen with a clean picture and proper sound)

They must have somebody new running the Columbia/Tri Star home video...I don't like what i've been seeing from them lately

I don't care for the casing, either. It won't stand up right on my shelf and is just really awkward.
