I have seen that they are going to release a two pack of the care bears movie with Water Babies

I really want to get Water Babies for nostalgia's sake, but I really don't like the idea of having to buy Care Bears also.

Anyone hear of them being split?

Isn't it a disappointment when an old movie you remember as a kid finally gets released on DVD and you are all excited to buy it and then get it and it doesn't measure up? Nostalgia is my worst enemy when it comes to buying DVDs

I've never heard of "Water Babies", but I'll be happy to take those "Care Bears" discs off your hands. Ahh, the 80s......

Water Babies starts out live action, an orphaned (?) boy is forced by the two mean adults to rob a rich persons house. They wake someone up and while escaping, the boy throws himself into the river to get away from the bad guys. At this point it turns animated. He meets this race of water babies "under the sea" and some talking animals and they sing and defeat the big bad and all is well

Never heard of Water Babies myself, but I'd probably buy the Care Bare movies. Another movie from my childhood I'd like on DVD is The Chipmunks movie. I think it was "Chipmunks Race Around The World" or something like that. The chimpmunks race the girl chipmunks in hot air balloons around the world, don't remember much else from it...
