Both will be Platinum Series releases if I'm not mistaking, but specs and such haven't been announced yet. They're streeting October 1st.

I hope they are keep cases so they go along with the cases from Parts 1-8.

Considering Blade 2 is coming in a keep case, I am assuming all Platinum titles will now be released in them.

Yes, but that's a 2-disc. They may still be releasing single-disc releases in snappers.

I don´t like the snapper cases, even hate them.

But what I´m really hoping for are the Unrated Versions of both films with lots of bonus material...

(finally I think New Line will release the R-Rated Versions)

...and maybe some day in the near future *dreaming* Paramount will release the Unrated Versions of Part I to VIII...

In UK the unrated Version of JGTH was released, but only in 4:3

We ar now discussing in German message boards, if the spanish DVD-Version of Jason X is the unrated film version (I saw the movie 2 days ago and do belive that it is the R-Rated Version)

yes, sadly. but on the positive side, its allegedly very good quality, and thankfully open-matte rather than P&S.
