Is anyone collecting archor bay limited edition DVDs?

I just pickup suspiria limitied edition. It's been out for a while and out of stock at most online stores. But I notice the limited no. is different than the us version. It's 10,000 copies in Canada and 60,000 copies in States. I can't find any other difference from the packing.

Now comes the question, if the discs/cover/packing are exactly same, will the ca version be more valuable than the us version because there're fewer copies?

Also there's a debate between me and my friend, if the DVD content is same, beside the cover, if the quality of ca version and us version is exactly same? I mean they might be produced from different production lines.

Thanks for the link.

I just want to hear other person's opinion, when the disc/packing/cover are exactly same, but they have the different id or spin number, will you order it from States with a higher price or just pickup ca version?

"limited editions"

Do you have any idea how many "limited editions" of Anchor Bay movies I can find in my town, without even looking? Don't even bother with them unless you're a hardcore collector and can hang onto them for years.

thats what the limited editions are for. A LIMITED AUDIENCE.
I think AB would be in big trouble if they mass pressed discs like Manhunter and all of the tins

Well, I own the LE of Opera (although I didn't buy it, and really didn't want it) and the Immortal Edition of Highlander.

So far I've noticed that the LEs offer almost nothing more than the regualr editions except bigger packaging and a bigger price tag.

Let's see...as far as LE's go from Anchor Bay, I have:

Evil Dead BotD, Evil Dead 2 (tin), Hellraiser (tin), Army of Darkness LE, Heathers (tin), Supergirl LE (Yes, I admit I have it), Highlander Immortal Edition (is that an LE?)

I think thats it....
