I like the packaging. I think it's better than the original DVD art.

Ok, it's time for a sticky "Sucky DVD Artwork Attacks!" thread.

We've had a dozen of these this week.

While I like the original poster art, the SE cover is pretty good.

I agree with the others, I like the new box cover artwork better than the original. Is their some other artwork of Speed out there that you would like to see Raptor X? Maybe you can post it here.

wow. i cant believe how many of you actually like the cover..
in my opinion its too...full..

i was hoping for something more simple...
like the T2 ultimate edition case.....something like that...

maybe just the title on a black background....
that woudlve been neat and tidy.
unlike the new cover..
blecH.

I agree w/that.

Also I think that the Five-Star Collection Two Disc Set cover art of Speed sucks really bad!

This has been debated so much over the past couple of months...I'm glad Ididn't have to say it this time! I keep the spines of my discs showing. I rarely never notice the front cover.

I just prefer the original font, and why did they choose that pic of Keanu "whoa" Reeves at the moment he caught a whiff of his own, shall we say, "escaping toxic fumes".

I actually think the new artwork is a bit of an improvement on the original...which is a surprise coming from me.

The original wasn't all that earth shaking anyways....

I suppose if they included Sandra Bullock on the new cover it would look even nicer

Most likely this will be a blind purchase for me. As for the cover, not bad. It gives a feeling of danger behind Reves. Dont mind.

I also think the new cover sucks. However, at least we're getting it in a nice new 5 star collection edition as opposed to the original cover which was a bare bones dvd.

I could care less about the cover. The only thing you'll see on my shelf is the spine. The content is what counts and I, for one, am happy about the release, period.

You are right. But when you take it out to put it in the DVD player you have to look at the horrible cover. But I do hope it's a good set. Any one seen any reviews of it yet?

Since DVD artwork doesn't matter, I suppose we'd all buy the Speed special edition if this were the artwork?

It costs the same amount of money to design and print a shitty cover as it does to print an awesome cover. Actually, it costs less money cause the European poster art 95% of the time would make the best cover. Just crop it and slap it on there. BAM!

Ok, I couldn't do just one...
