This is Disney right?
They release these in WS, but then they still butcher other movies like Snow Dogs, and The Muppets. I don't get it. Why can't they release all the movies right.

What makes Christmas so special that it gets a 4:3 release?

Way I heard it a while ago from a reliable source was that Ernest Goes to Camp would be 16:9 widescreen, Christmas would be non-anamorphic widescreen, and the other two would be Fullscreen. Not likely that it's changed, but it's clearly different from what DVD Review is saying.
