MASH Season 2 Typo?

I picked up Season 2 of MASH over the weekend, one thing that alarmed me was the release date for Season 3. The insert that advertised Season 3 said Winter 2003.

We have to wait approx. a year and a half for another season?!?! Does anyone know if this is a typo or not?

Umm... Winter 2003 also means January & February 2003.

Seems like Fox plans on releasing each season in six-month intervals, based on the flyer and the fact that this set came six months after Season One. At this rate, it'll take another five years to get the entire series on DVD.

I do hope they get to include some good extra features in future sets, such as:

- any deleted scenes
- bloopers, gags, and outtakes
- the E! documentary on "M*A*S*H"
- the CBS documentary "Memories of M*A*S*H"
- the M*A*S*H 30th Anniversary Reunion
- tributes to McLean Stevenson, Larry Linville, and other cast members who have since passed away
- comprehensive character dossiers on the staff of the 4077th

But having the option of watching each episode without the laugh track makes for a more interesting viewing experience. Watching them au naturel brings out the biting satire present, though there are some episodes that just simply are funnier with the laugh track, in my opinion. And it's definitely better than the edited versions on the FX channel.
