Star Trek II: DC in hands now!!!
Man, (Fixed Flash's Mistake :p - Marty) has really been rubbin' me the right way lately. 2 weeks ago it was an early release of Speed, now this!! I got it early in the AM (as usual). So anyway, I thought I'd share what I could. Here's some pics I took (I know they're crappy; I just put my digital camera in front of my 25" TV). The opening animated intros to both discs are really cool. That's it for now. I got a new movie to watch!!

It'd be a good idea to bleep out the name of the store that broke the release date.
But still, thats a mighty fine looking set. I'll be looking around my nearest now for an early copy. Thanks for the pics

Uh...
why would it be a "good idea to bleep out" the store name?... (it looks like someone tried to, but's still there...)
They made their bed, now they have to sleep in it. Last edited by Marty McFly : 07-31-2002 at 04:25 PM. |

Well, do you think you can give us a short review of things that have been altered in the movie and the extras--I'd love to get this, region 2 of course as those paramount b**tards only release US Star Trek stuff in English (pretty prejudiced considering the universal message of Star Trek--yeah, you'll be hearing that from me everytime I mention STdvds.), but would love to hear some stuff about it first.

A friend brought his copy over yesterday and we watched it. Great stuff! I'm not really a big ST fan, but this movie was really good. I remembered seeing it before, but never in widescreen with such pristine quality. The 5.1 mix is also pretty cool, and their are some great directional additions. All in all, a great DVD and a great movie.
