Haven't heard anything at all. This is a Warner title, and Warner's not known to revisit and release SEs of existing DVDs, as Columbia is notorious for doing.

It's a shame, as I quite enjoyed this movie and have been waiting for a SE version too. Never heard a rumor about one coming out, though.

What about the re issue of Twister, Interview with a Vampire, and 3 of the Leathal Weapon movies. Im sure we will be getting a new issue of Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves in the future.

But they are re-releasing Unforgiven and Cuckoo's Nest, so maybe Warner is changing it's spots.

Of course, Robin Hood: Price of Thieves is hardly in that class.

I like the movie knowing it is a bad movie. Alan Rickman is funny and Costner's bad accent is hillarious.

I would buy a special edition. I have read the current edition sucks and isn't worth buying at any price.
