Friday 13th Part 7 in 5.1?! - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Many websites say that Friday the 13th Part 7 will be in Dolby 5.1 english and French as well as the standard Dolby 2.0 surround. Is this true? I hope it is as cruddy 2.0 ain't so cool.

And Part 7 is my fave. The music in this one has a few neat cues and themes that were not in any other sequel and if it is in 5.1 after all then maybe it will give it more depth and dimensionality.

I doubt it is...of course it would be very cool. The 2.0 track on Six is decent, so we'll probably get that here.

Theirs nothing wrong with original soundtracks(mono,2.0 stereo ect) on older films!

More importantly this film,as well as the series needs a uncensored release. This film is a pointless buy if it's the same old butchured literally R rated version.

It is! And a damn good un too. I just got this today and it rocks. Part VIII is only in 2.0 tho.

Definately agree with Christina,Censorship sucks

,It's about time that the Fridays were released uncut.

I have the uncut versions on shoddy vhs-so it would be a godsend if the were to release 'em onto dvd uncut.
There's a few different versions of the 1st Friday-I only Have the dutch version vhs tape and the Jap Laserdisc.

Still I can always dream of the set been released uncut one day.

But not even trailers for the latest, that freakin' blows...the trailers for these are classics.
