The Usual Suspects SE, worth buying blind?
I have heard good things about it, but I do not know anyone who has seen it. I want to know if you think it is worth buying blind? Also, how is the video, audio, and extras on the disc? Thanks!

if you haven't seen the movie then perhaps your better off renting it first, but personally as a fan of the film the set is great on all sides.

As long as you like the movie, it's a no brainer. And it's hard not to like such a great movie as this.

Not just "yes" but "hell yes"! I bought it blind and I love it. The SE has lots of great extras too. The interviews with the cast and director give you lots of background information and clues that you probably missed the first time. Makes repeat viewings even better than the first.
I didn't register a vote in the poll but count this post as an unqualified yes!

I remember all the raves about this film when it came out. I had no idea what it was about and hadn't really noticed Kevin Spacey before. I was familiar with Gabriel Byrne but that wasn't enough for me to see it right away.
Finally after putting it off, I picked this one up for rental one evening (on VHS). I was impressed and BLOWN AWAY! But then again, I love these type of movies with surprises. I haven't heard anyone not liking it. One evening, I will just run out and buy this fine film, when I am in the mood to see it again (which is pretty frequent). edit: I just remembered, for goodness sake, it is the same director who did X-Men and will is working on X-Men 2, if that makes a difference or helps in your decision. Bryan Singer!

One of my favorite movies. Two enjoyable commentary tracks, and over an hour of feaurettes on the 2nd side of the disc. Enjoyable and insightful stuff on the bonus features.
Well worth the money.
