"Signs" on DVD? (SPOILERS!!)

Any chance "Signs" will hit DVD before the end of the year? I know this film pretty much divided people down the middle, with its passionate detractors and its passionate admirers. I fall into the latter category. The moments I love get better each time I see it.

Since "The Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable" were released as Vista Series discs, I'm assuming the same will be true with Shyamalan's latest. Here's what I'd like to see:

* Behind the scenes featurette
* Making the Crop Circles - detailing the technique of how it was done and the ideas for the designs
* Documentary on the history behind crop circles
* Designing the alien featurette with sketch designs
* Signs from the Past - an exploration of Shyamalan's inspirations for the movie, such as classics like Night of the Living Dead and War of the Worlds
* Scoring Signs interview with composer James Newton Howard.

I didn't mention a commentary track because he hasn't done one before. Has anyone ever heard Shyamalan say specifically he wasn't interested in doing commentaries?

Judging by the film's success, I think whenever the disc arrives it will be a quality product.

Walt

I liked the movie a lot and will pick it up on DVD. I'm not an anal, nitpicking moviegoer that sucks the life out of everything I watch because it's not 100% consistent or hole-proof. If I enjoy it, I like it.

I really liked Signs. But I do agree with some people when they said the ending lacked. But I don't agree with them saying it ruined the film.

It's no Sixth Sense though

I thought the ending ruled. The whole movie was perfect in my opinion.

Those are some really cool supplements you listed there Wflanagan, I hope most of them are on the DVD.

I dont usually care for this particular genre of film, I also dont consider it the same genre, or the same league, as Sixth Sense, but I really enjoyed this flick, and although I told my gf I wouldnt, Ill prolly pick this one up asap.

Piglet, looking back, I have to agree. It really is a completely different film, and comparing is a little hard to do.

I never said I disliked the ending, in fact, I enjoyed it. But I can agree with my friends when they said "swing away" was a little campy.
