MIBII - dvd press release

» BLACK SUITS COMIN'

Columbia has announced the full details on MIB II. Due 11/26, the 2-disc set will come in separate 16x9 widescreen and fullscreen releases. Disc 1 will include: English and French DD 5.1 audio, subtitles, audio commentary with director's Barry Sonnenfeld (with optional Telestrator feature), Alien Broadcast and trailers. Disc 2: the never-before-seen alternate ending (I'm presuming involving the WTC), a gag reel, intergalactic production featurettes, alien creature featurettes, music video: "Black Suits Comin' (Nod Your Head)," multi-angle scene deconstruction, one-sheet still gallery, filmographies, and DVD-ROM (Crossfire: MIBII Interactive Game, Screen Saver, Concept Designs, MIBII Script, and weblinks). The set will retail $28.96. Columbia will also run a "buy one, get one free" mail-in promotion with every purchase of MIBII. Titles will include Air Force One, Ali, Bad Boys SE, Big Daddy, Black Hawk Down, Boyz N the Hood, Bridge on the River Kwai, Charlie's Angels, CE3K (single disc), Cruel Intentions, The Fifth Element, Finding Forrester, From Here to Eternity, Ghostbusters, Joe Dirt, Lawrence of Arabia (single disc), Legends of the Fall: SE, Not Another Teen Movie, On the Waterfron, Resident Evil, The 6th Day SE, Stripes, Taxi Driver, Tommy and Two Can Play That Game.

Cool, I might pick that one up even since I planned on eventually buying the 6th Day and the release week MiB2 price will probably be about the same as 6th Day.

I now get what it is.
I hope that an HT newbie does not get confused as it saysD, SDDS and DTS.

I guess that its an specification on which theatrical soundformats was the film was presented, they do it a lot with the mexican VHS tapes (the Desperado one has the SDDS logo in it)
I cannot use paint right now, my mouse is screwed.
