Thanks Chris Kinght for posting this thread, I just got home from the weekly trek for dvd's and it took me like three hours to find the damn thing, I went to Wal-mart, Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, Media Play, Sam's Club, and FYE, and that is where I found it but it was $14.99, but I figured after looking for so long might as well pay the extra $5.00. I didnot find ROTLD, but I didn't really look that well, I will just pick it up next week. I also had trouble locating Deranged/Motel Hell and The Last house on the left, but eventually I found them.

at 11:30am my local Best Buy had one copy left of Teen Wolf/Teen Wolf Too (didn't know it was a double side double feature). I didn't want Too because I think it sucks, but for $9.99 for two movies, I'm not complaining.

I was at Best Buy today to buy a couple of DVDs, and I didn't see a single copy of ROTLD or Teen Wolf. Pretty strange, I didn't even see a price marker, because I looked for them anyway...oh well.

Where did you find them?

I've called about 4 other Best Buys, a nearby Record Town, 2 Suncoast Videos and a Barnes and Noble (its a slow night at work)... NADA on both ROTLD & TW.

The guy at Suncoast said their buyers dropped the ball on these and a lot of people have come in or called looking for them. They are hoping to set up some kind of drop ship program so they can get these into the stores ASAP, but said they probably wouldn't have them until next week.

I KNEW I should've pre-ordered these at DeepDiscountDVD.com... I ALWAYS get movies a few days early when I opt for the priority shipping.

Well, on the bright side, at least I found Mr. Brown.

Hmm... Return of the Living Dead is awfully cheap. Maybe I should think of a blind purchase based on all the hype it's been getting on these boards.

Went to the Circuit City here in Charlotte and the had 4 Mr.Brown RD and 3 copies of ROTLD. I didn't look for Teen Wolf I just bought The Fog and Queen of the Damned which I just finished watching and liked alot. That of course could be tp low expectations I will see how it holds up to repeat viewing.

I only went to my favorite Best Buy today to pick up Reservoir Dogs and maybe some other stuff. No Brown covers or ROTLD. I got the latter yesterday from DVDEmpire. I wanted the Mr. Blonde cover which was readily available. But, hey, I picked up Hollow Man (not the Superbit) SE for 9.99. Not a classic, but at least I can drink some cold ones to the strains of a Jerry Goldsmith score...

got my ROTLD at Circuit City for 10.99 after finding 0 copies at Best Buy, along with 0 copies of deranged/motel hell and 0 copies of vampires kiss and 0 copies of last house on the left. pretty disappointing day at Best Buy. Circuit City came thru but i think $1 more on the DVDs than Best Buy.

No ROTLD or Deranged/Motel Hell @ my best Buy either...why stock The Fog and no ROTLD? Both are equally obscure...WTF?

I called Tower Records last night and they said they had several copies of each.

I'm gonna keep looking though because the closest Tower is so damn far away and I have a million other errands in the other direction when I get out of work today.

UUGGGHHHH!!!!!

Well i went to the BB in Inver Groves Heights,MN since iwas at the Mall of America all afternoon, filling out & picking up applications for whoever was hireing(Sam Goody had a few Mr Brown dvds!).

Since this BB was close to the mall,i decided to see if they had any of the dvds since none of the stores in the mall had them, same fore the BB near my house.

Well i found The Fog & Last House on the Left....Return was missing still, though i found it on the cart a employee was pushing by stocking dvsd ^ asked if he had the film on the cart at all, said yes..gave me it & mentioned they had about 40 in back!

So there i was...all 3 dvds in hand & what did i do? Put them back & left!

I planned to only buy two for now since i'm trying t osave my $$ as best as possible until i find work...yet i could not decide which two to get & was also starving & getting impatient since i have'nt ate in hours & just left...since traffic was also bad, that i had to take alternate routs to BB..& by the time i made it there...i was not in the mood to buy.

They also had the Teen Wolf dvd & other MGM midght dvds...& even The Toxic Avenger box set out early!

If only i had enough $$ & could purchase everything i wanted

Oh well...i really want Last House,Return & The Fog since they are all all time favorites of mine & i can't pick only one or two i guess.....so should i just say #%&$ it & get all 3?

Went to my local Best Buy to get LHOTL and ROTLD, but no luck! I got The Fog thru DDD.com and so I have it right here.

Course BB had lots of copies of The Fog (for $16, WTF?) but absolutely NO Last House or Living Dead. I just don't get it. :rar:

Back online for me....

Since I work second shift.
I was at the front door along with at least 25 people waiting to get into the store at opening.
I snatched up 1 of the only 2 copies of Return of the Living Dead , and the only copy of The Last House On The Left.

How could that be?

There was about 40 copies of The Fog.
I plan on getting The Fog + the rest of my wanted Dvd's tommorrow.

After work yesterday, I stopped by the Best Buy down the block: the same Best Buy that said they didn't have either title when I called... they had (1) ROTLD (2) LHOTL and (2) TW/TW2.

So I bought ROTLD and TW/TW2. Not a big fan of LHOL.

As happy as I was to find these DVDs, I was pissed as hell that the shit for brains who I spoke on the phone with told me that they didn't have them. I don't know what made me stop in, but I'm glad I did.

Well i decided to buy the movies & stopped by the BB near my house & to my suprise they had all the MGM releases!

The best part was....i saved quite abit of $$ by buying the dvds. Last House & Return rung up at $8.50 instead of $10,The Fog as $13.50...instead of $15!

Then if that was not good enough...i got $3 off somehow since the clerk smiled & said "might as well get $3 off", was'nt sure if they had some type of deal or what, but of course i said "Yes!" lmao.

Looked on the receipt when i left...& the $3 off was marked as cd/rock -$3. So maybe they had some type of deal for buying 2 or more cds? Yet the clerk gave me the $3 off for buying 3 dvds,lol..i have no complaints

Then when i came home..Ragstock from Mall of America called & i have a interview tomorrow morning!

Lets hope i get it...as so far my job search is ridiculously tough & no matter how good the interviews look,i never got the job!
