what 20 year old movies (from 1983) would you like see re-released or released...

on DVD for the first time next year.

Risky Business-I'd love to see a remastered version with plenty of extras

National Lampoon's Vacation-a new WS print is a must the curent DVD is FS and looks pretty lousy:barf:

Max Dugan Returns- I'm hoping this movie finally comes to DVD sometime soon

A Christmas Story-:barf: :barf: on the current DVD

there are many more I'd like to see (1983 was such a great year for comedies)

I'd have to agree with A Christmas Story...such a classic movie and such a crappy DVD.

A really nice Twilight Zone: The Movie: SE would be welcome too.

And lets not forget Return of the Jedi....hah.

Um, this isn't from 1983, but what about a widescreen release of "Parenthood"? It's a wonderful wonderful movie and the cruddy pan & scan release out now just doesn't cut it.

Come on, Ron Howard is an Oscar-winning Director now! And "Parenthood" is a movie I really want to own.

Those films are from 1991. '94, and '93, respectively. I think George was looking specifically for films from 1983, because next year they would be eligible for "20 Year Anniversary" special editions.

I might be a couple of years off (these films might have been released in 1984 or 1985), but I'd like to see "1984" come to DVD, and see a SE version of "2010".

Definitely back up the selection of WarGames, too.
