I just want to watch the damn thing to see what all the fuss is about. Word of mouth is the best advertising, regardless of whether or not it's a bad movie.

I bought the current version of this out of curiosity(sp) watched it once and sold it on e-bay. I thought it was terrible in every regard. As far as the rape scenes go they are pretty bad but as far as emotionally hitting you the one What's Love Got To Do is a better representation of the brutalness of rape. If you want to see this borrow it, rent it but don't buy it your money is better spent elsewhere.
