How is this similar or different to the History of Beavis and Butthead DVD coming out? That's the one I want to get.

Woo Hoo, 43 episodes.

I hope they are uncut. Prolly not though.

You can catch uncut Beavis and Butthead episodes on some Spike and Mike festival material... Funny stuff...

Never gonna happen. MTV could broadcast the videos, because they had broadcast rights. A lot of bands were probably insulted by the commentary...and there's no way they'd authorize B&B to thrash them all over again.

Actually, at the height of their popularity, the bands who's videos were shown on Beavis & Butt-Head actually saw an increase in their CD sales as a result! Plus, it's nearly a decade later. Show some backbone, wimps.

I really don't know if I'd buy them without the videos either. I'll never forget how they lambasted Journey for a few of their videos. I first heard of Tool because of the B&B video segments. They were watching the Sober video and going nuts over how "cool" it was. Since first seeing that video on Beavis and Butt-Head, I have been a die-hard Tool fan.

just to let you know this is according to a friend at dvdtalk.com

"FYI: As per the "other" release (Time-Life), I just called Time-Life and asked why it still says "backordered" when it was supposed to release/ship TODAY. He said they had "A LOT" of orders for this on backorder, and they will not be getting ANY in until AT LEAST SEPTEMBER 30TH AT THE SOONEST."
