I saw Truffaut's Fahrenheit 451 on AMC a few months back and really loved it, a really interesting version of the book. I haven't been able to find it anywhere other than used at extremely high prices. Anyone know if or when a new release might be coming out? Or who has the rights to it?

This was one of those titles that was licensed to Image Entertainment by Universal(Like many others-Sixteen Candles, Flash Gordon, They Live Prince of Darkness to name a few). Image's rights expired and the discs went out of print. I believe all the rights to the these titles have reverted back to Universal. I've cited that Silent Running was one such title and Universal has now released their own special edition disc. I can only hope they will do this for all those titles, but I have no idea when. Fahrenheit is a cool movie too, I was able to get a used copy before it went out of print and I'm gonna hang on to it until(hopefully) the new disc comes out.
