Hey, is the new dvd single dvd for Dead Leaves & The Dirty Ground only a UK Region 2 release? I can only find it at their record labels website and noticed you it is in the UK type money. anywayz, if anyone knows...

Not completely sure on this one, but it's fairly common these days for groups and artists to release DVD singles these days along with a CD1, CD2, 7" and 12" versions in the UK. Since the singles market in North America is not nearly what it is overseas these usually don't get released over here. You'd be surprised about just how much cool stuff gets released in the UK that we don't get over here. That's what Amazon.co.uk is for!

If you do want to get these region 2 DVD singles, you gotta have the right player obviously. I use my friends laptop!

so it is region 2. that sucks. I don't want to pay for that. maybe i'll buy my parents a good all-region player for x-mas.

Yeah the UK pissed me off, they get all the bonus stuff like DVD singles and other Eps and shit. There is a singles market in America it's just dominated by crap like rap and boy bands, basically disposible music that no one will care about in two weeks time.
So all of the music fans in the US get stuck paying import prices, blows but what are you going to do about it?
