This is a debated topic that I am not sure if a definitive answer has ever been given. It seems to be a covered up mystery on the new Artisan DVD as nobody wants to give it up. Is this similar to the "whats in the case" from Pulp Fiction? A lingering quetion that will never be answered? Do you know the answer---Who shot him?

how weird...i was thinking this last night too...so i put in the movie and went frame by frame and whoever said it was right...

I thought I had heard somewhere that Chris Penn's squib went off early, and that's the whole reason he goes down. The first time I saw it, I thought Pink shot him.

While we're at it...here's another question that may seem obvious, but I ask because I got in an argument about this with a friend years ago (coincidentally, he was also named Tony

).

Do you think Mr. Pink survives the end of the movie? After the standoff ends (badly), Pink picks up the briefcase and heads out the door. Soon, we hear tires screeching and gunfire, seconds before a bunch of cops storm the warehouse. I think it's pretty clear that Pink is killed in a shootout with the cops, but my friend still disagreed. What do you think?

My take:

Joe shoots at Orange.

White shoots at Joe as soon as he sees Joe preparing to fire at Orange.

Eddie reacts and shoots towards White after White shoots Joe.

White, knowing that Eddie would shoot him for shooting Joe, immediatley turns to fire at Eddie after shooting Joe.

Orange does not fire as he is killed.

Pink does not fire as he was out of the scene and he hid under the rampway.

Cop and Blonde both dead, so they cannot fire.

I like to think the tires screeching and gun fire were Jules and Vincent getting the suitcase for Marcellus

Kindof a cool thought, but that link above suggests that Pink was handcuffed and had to do the time for the heist. Unsolved Mysteries????
