Empire records - Help! - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Hi, Empire Records is my girlfriends favourite film, but it's not out on DVD here in Britain. Her DVD player can't play other regions, just region 2. So my question is: Has Empire Records been released anywhere in the world with either a) Region 0 or b) region ?+2? If so, where i could i get hold of a copy?

I know it's in Region 1, but as far as I know, no Region 0. I don't think this title warranted it. You may want to try this link, it's a database of all regions and releases of the same title in different regions.

I think I heard rumblings about a Special Edition of EMPIRE RECORDS a few months back. Anybody remember or see this anywhere? Great movie though....
