We have just been informed of a recall on the Paramount tile "The History of Beavis & Butthead" The studio has asked us to take the title off-line and cancel all orders. Because of this, we will not be able to
ship you the copy that you ordered, and we do not have information as to if or when the title will be re-announced.
However, when we do get this information, we will post it on-line under a new listing. This recall will affect all persons selling the title and it is not limited to us, so it seems that the product will not make it into the marketplace. We do apologize for the situation

nothing from paramount yet flash. i am also curious to their reasoning. but i think they are pushing it back a few weeks due to the time life set coming out one week ealier or even maybe they will release it in november to compete with the south park season 1 set. nobody knows yet.

I saw an ad for this in this months Blender mag, and I was all hyped to get it... now im gonna have to wait even longer... damnit it just aint fair i havent seen b&b for years and now they make me wait longer! How dare they!

It's been a while since my last post, but I figured I'd try to help you guys out.

I just read on dvdtalk.com that www.djangos.com (spelling?) has them in stock. Someone emailed them and they said that they will sell their quantity. I just placed an order and it went through.
Please order only 1 of them so more of us can benefit even though the value will undoubtedly go up.

the reason for the delay apparently is that there is a song or a video on the dvd that paramount did not get fully licenced and there for the title was pulled, but since it is so recent, some small or big stores might still carry it. click here http://cdnow.com/cgi-bin/mserver/SID...itemid=1580970 to purchase it from cdnow.com. i know they are reliable so take it there.

i have heard nothing of what is on this history set and am trying to decide between the history and the 3 dvd set that has 43 episodes. but before i make any decisions i really want to know what is on the History of B & B.

yeah i just preordered the history one also. now B&B 3 dvd lifetime set is on backorder till sept 30 at the least i hear. and it is $30 for all 3 dvds. now is this a special price? is it gonna go up in like a week like most dvds after their release? if so ill end up ordering sometime this week....if not the history will hold me over for a little while and i dont have to blow another $30 right away.

Well, my credit card just got charged $28.48 which is how much CDNOW was charging for The History of Beavis & Butt-Head once shipping was thrown in. According to my order tracking page, it is currently going through the "processing" stage, so I'm pretty sure they are sending it out. I'll let you guys know if I hear anything else.

Yea, I think since Paramount has OFFICAL canceled the dvd, all the hoping and wishing isn't going to help. CDNow can't send you DVDs that don't exist people. If I were you, I'd complain that they are charging you ahead of time for product that doesn't exist. I understand how badly you don't want to believe it is true, but unfortunately that isn't enough to create a DVD out of thin air

just a few min ago i decided to track my order on the history of B&B from cdnow.com.
where it used to say "processing" it now said 01/01/10
so i then clicked on it and it took me to another page that said:

"This is an advance order item. Your item will be shipped when it becomes available.

The expected release date is Jan 01, 2010. This date is subject to change at the discretion of the releasing label or studio. "

wow year 2010!! thats in like 7 years! haha to hell with that im cancelling and looks like ill be going with the lifetime release.

if anybody buys or puts a bid in for the bb set on ebay, they are effing crazy. its now 165.00. also from someone who has the disc on another site, they are single layered, and the little paper that has chapters ect, can easily be coppied so watchout for the bootleggs on ebay in the next few days. and i just ordered the set again from half.com (i was too late the first time.)
